Chaus Viktor Nikolaevich (1940-2019) was born in the village of Jampol , Donetsk region . He graduated from the Crimean Art University named after N. Samokish (1962 - 1966) , Kharkov Art Institute (1966 - 1971) , where he studied at B. Kosarev , B. Kolesnikov , Yegorov , E. Bykov. Member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1982 , Chairman of the Section of Painting from 1998 . Professor, department of Painting of Kharkov Art Institute . Honored Artist of Ukraine since 2000 .
