Mykola Pymonenko (1862-1912) - an outstanding Ukrainian artist. Studied at the Kiev drawing school nmed after Nikolai Murashko (1876-1882), where he later taught (after 1884). He graduated from the Pedagogical courses of the Academy of Arts (1882-1884) with the title of teacher of drawing. He was a member of the TYURKH (since 1891). Received the title of honorary free associate of the Academy of Arts (1891), academician (1904).
