Grishchenko Oleksiy (1883 - 1977). Ukrainian painter, graphic artist, art theorist. He studied with S. Svyatoslavsky in Kiev (1905), with K. Yuon and I. Mashkov in Moscow (1910-1911). Member of the association "World of Art" (since 1917). Member of the Council of the Moscow Union of Artists and Painters (since 1917). In 1920 he emigrated. He lived in Constantinople. In 1922 he moved to France, until 1924 he lived in Paris, then in Cannes.
