Maksimenko Mykola (1924-2016) - Ukrainian painter, master of landscape and still life. He studied at the art studio in Magnitogorsk (1941-1942) with B. Degtyarev and I. Grabar. People's Artist of Ukraine (since 1994). He was awarded the State Prize of Ukraine named after T. Shevchenko (1994).
