Oksana Borovets is a visual artist, based in Kyiv, Ukraine. She is the author of The Keys, a project exploring the loss of home due to the Russian invasion, and 140 Words About Women, dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the women’s movement in Ukraine. Her work examines the intersection of personal and collective experiences, particularly through the themes of gender, identity, and resilience.
In her art, Oksana employs negative space, symbolism, and minimalism. Her approach is based on a delicate balance between the visible and the hidden, offering a deeper perspective on the interplay between humans and nature, personal experience, and collective memory.
