Morisot Inessa

Inessa Morisot is a Kyiv-born photographer and visual artist (b. 1977) currently based in Munich, where relocated in 2010. Her work is heavily influenced by French Impressionism and Japanese aesthetics, shaped by her travels throughout Japan and Europe.

Minimalism and abstraction are central to her exploration of subjects such as people, the female form, architecture, beauty and nature. Her photography invites viewers to uncover deeper layers of meaning the longer they engage with each image.
Through a carefully selected color palette and composition, Inessa examines the structural interplay of form and space, addressing themes of time—past, present, and future—simultaneously.
