lya Isupov was born in 1971 in the Kyiv region. He studied drawing, painting and composition in the class of Ukrainian artist Oleh Zhyvotkov at the Taras Shevchenko State Art High School in Kyiv, which he graduated from in 1990. One of the representatives of the squat "Paris Commune" (1990s). He painted shirts with Ilya Chichkan and sold them on Andriyivsky Descent. He lived in Great Britain for three years, from 1991 to 1993. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (since 1999). Works mainly in a realistic style, experimenting with techniques (painting, video art, installation, author's technique). The author's works are in private collections and galleries in Ukraine, Russia, Germany, Italy, Spain, Japan.
