Krikhatsky Volodymyr (1877-1920) - Ukrainian painter, graphic artist. Born April 18, 1877 in Odessa. He studied at the Physics and Mathematics Faculty of Novorossiysk University. In the mid-1890s, he studied painting and drawing at the private art school of M.M. Manilam, from 1897 he studied at the Odessa School of Drawing. He took lessons from Odessa artists O. G. Turtsevich, V. V. Naake, G. S. Golovkov. Member and exhibitor of the Association of South Russian Artists (1919), Art Society. K.K. Kostandi (1922-1928). Member, secretary and treasurer of the Odessa Society of Independent Artists (since the early 1920s).
