Natalya Shkurat, Ukrainian photographer born and based in Kyiv. First education received at Kyiv National Linguistic University. Started to study photography at 2019 at Kyiv Photography school, took courses at MYPH Concept photography school and Form Photo Academy (France). Took part in New Eye exhibition at Nu Art gallery in 2021 (Kyiv) with the works from “The Kaleidoscope” project.
New works from “Fractal Geometry of the City” series are presented at Contemporary Ukrainian Photography exhibition in Kyiv (November-December, 2024). Several photographs were selected and published in the book ‘100 Contemporary Ukrainian Photographers’ 2024 by Form.Paris. Inspired and influenced by the abstract art of 20th century, avant-garde artists and sculptures, contemporary art performers who work with shape, form, color and line.
